Julie & Joe – A Sarasota Engagement Session at a Historic Ringling Mansion

Julie and Joe were amazing to work with. We had an amazing evening full of wind and a lot of fun! They wanted true Sarasota, and our historic architecture is so much of our culture so we decided on the New College Admin Building, also known as the Charles Ringling Mansion.

It is one of my favorite spots in town as it provides an epic backdrop along the water for photos. The architecture is perfection.

I knew in the moment we were creating some magic together, but didn’t realize just how awesome these photos were going to be. The colors of the sunset paired with the architecture and then of course their outfits was pretty much perfection.

They were so fun to work with and open to whatever direction I gave. Joe even brought a bottle of champagne to pop! It was a well deserved moment for them to celebrate themselves and their relationship.

After meeting in 2020, making it out of the crazy together, they got engaged in ITALY (swoon) and now we get to witness more of their story as I get to photograph it!

Unfortunately we have to wait until next year but it is going to be EPIC!

So stoked to be documenting your story J&J!
