I had the BEST time hiding out in Pottery Barn (shoutout to the sweet ladies who were just as invested as I was!) while waiting to capture this magical moment in Hyde Park Village. The vibes were off the charts, and every single second was filled with love, excitement, and pure joy. It was so fun watching the family run out to them just after it happened and the smiles on their faces was something I won’t forget ❤️

I need to explain further how we all met though, because the reaction and facial expression on Angie’s face when she realized it was me was so sweet and made me feel so special, I just know it was all meant to be.

I met them at a wedding expo. They walked by and said hi, but didn’t really stop to chat. They did come back a while later and looked through my albums and talked to a us a bit. At this meeting they decided to book a call with me, but scheduled it for about a month out.

Fast forward a couple weeks and I got an email from Devin about shooting their proposal for them. Obviously I was really confused, considering I met them at a wedding expo and assumed they were already engaged. He proceded to tell me that they weren’t, they were just preparing and planning early, knowing the engagement would eventually happen. He booked me, we set everything up and then a couple weeks later was our call.

I WAS STRESSING how I was going to react when she told me they weren’t engaged. I had to ACT like I didn’t know and I suck so bad at lying ya’ll… LOLOL apparently I did well though as Devin told me she had no idea. 🙂

A week later, I found myself waiting for them to walk up to the fountain, a beautiful night in downtown tampa, ready to shoot the surprise proposal, shaking with nervous excitement as I always do… and when Angie saw me, and her face lit up asking if it was me, literally meant the world. I am so freaking stoked I met them, and so secretly hoping they hire me for the wedding so I get to continue to tell their story to the world.
