Weddings at Brown’s Grove Farm in Parrish, Florida hit different. Josh and Debbie tied the knot on April 25, 2026, and brought their whole crew with them – literally. Three daughters, a farm full of magic, and an evening that kept getting more beautiful as the sun went down. I cried. Zero shame.

Getting Ready

Debbie and her girls started the morning the only correct way: matching pink striped pajamas! And watching Debbie get ready with her girls was so fun and extra special. I especially loved how much she adored the work done by her makeup gal Vanessa 🙂

Seriously, how stunning is Debbie? How cute is this getting ready space… but mostly.. this photo below!?!?! I literally cannot with how gorgeous all these girls are!

When the Family Becomes Official

This section of the day is one of my favorites to document with blended families. Debbie took time with each of her girls separately before the ceremony. The portraits under the Spanish moss oak trees, the moments on the dock – this was a family that was already whole, and they knew it.

Brown’s Grove Farm – The Venue

Brown’s Grove Farm is a working farm wedding venue in Parrish, Florida, about 30 minutes east of Sarasota. The Ceremony Under the Oaks

There is no ceremony quite like one under centuries-old live oak trees. The natural canopy does more decorating than any florist could dream up. Watching the daughters walk Debbie was one of those quiet moments that hits you in the chest before you even realize what’s happening. The vows were tearful, the recessional was pure joy.

Wedding Portraits

We found a wild meadow on the property just as the light started to turn, and Josh and Debbie were pure magic. He’s in a blue suit looking like he was born to stand in front of a field of pampas grass. She had her bouquet and her smile and absolutely carried the whole meadow. They toasted with mason jars, laughed at themselves, and gave me everything I hoped for and more.

The Reception

The daughters got their grand entrance introduction, the pavilion filled with applause, and from that moment the night had a momentum that nothing could stop. The open-air pavilion gave them a dance floor with the Florida sky overhead and the farm on all sides. Calling it magical is underselling it.

The red velvet cake with the vintage heirloom topper was a full moment. The 360 photo booth had the whole crew in formation. And by the time the dance floor opened up it was very clear nobody was going home early.

Sunset Session

At the end of the night we slipped away one more time for sunset portraits, and the sky absolutely delivered. That fiery orange over the farm pasture with Josh and Debbie silhouetted against it – that is the image. That is why we stay until the very last light every single time.
